Howard Silverman
Howard Silverman, CLU, CAP is Chairman of Arbor Group. Howard has been in the life insurance business for 40 years. His practice consists of working with attorneys, CPA’s, and investment advisors for the benefit of his clientele. His focus is in designing programs in the areas of estate conservation, charitable planning, business continuity, wealth transfer, and numerous other life insurance strategies. His business involvements have included:

Howard is a native of Philadelphia and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
Robert Trotenberg
Robert Trotenberg, CLU, CLTC, our company founder and President, began his career in financial services in 1983 and has been affiliated with Lincoln National, State Mutual and The Guardian. In 1992 he established Arbor Associates to offer a range of products and services from a wide variety of carriers. The company has evolved into two distinct entities — Arbor life, long term care & disability insurance and Arbor Group Benefits. Bobby remains actively involved in both firms, which encompass three locations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Bobby has earned advanced degrees from the American College and is a life member of Million Dollar Round Table, the industry standard for excellence. He is a graduate of George Washington University, Washington DC, and now lives in Voorhees NJ. He enjoys most sports, both as a participant and a spectator, and is a die-hard Eagles football fan.
Jules C. Einhorn, CLU, ChFC
Jules has been involved in the insurance and financial services industry since 1969. In addition to earning his CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) designations, he holds advanced degrees from the American College in estate planning, business tax planning and employee benefit planning. Jules was a director of the Philadelphia Association of Life Underwriters and has been a sought-after speaker to industry groups. Jules works closely with his clients’ attorneys, accountants, financial planners and trust officers to assure smooth and effective working relationships.
A graduate of Temple University, Jules has been married to his wife Carol since 1970. They have been business partners since 1989. When not at Arbor, Jules has been involved with many non-profit and charitable organizations as board member, chairman or president and also visits his children and grandchildren in California, Colorado and New York.
Carol Einhorn
Carol is considered one of the foremost long-term care insurance specialists in the Delaware Valley. She has been a consultant to major insurance companies and is a sought-after lecturer to lay and professional organizations. In addition to her frequent appearances on Philadelphia-area television and radio, Carol has published numerous articles on long-term care insurance issues and has appeared as an expert witness before the Pennsylvania State House Insurance Committee. She has been a director of the Philadelphia Association of Life Underwriters, chair of the Philadelphia Association of Health Insurance Agents and vice chair of the National Legislation Committee of the Association of Health Insurance Agents.
Carol has been involved in her community for many years as a board member, chairman or president of a variety of philanthropic organizations.
Neil Tarnopol
Neil Tarnopol is the President of Arbor Group Benefits. Neil works with corporate clients to develop, implement and monitor health benefits programs. An experienced professional, Neil has spent over 25 years in life insurance and medical benefits consulting, most recently as President of Universal Benefits Group. The clients of Arbor Group Benefits include firms as small as ten employees and as large as 1000 employees, throughout the East Coast.Neil is a graduate of Ithaca College, Ithaca NY, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business and Finance. He lives in Cherry Hill NJ, where he plays golf at every possible opportunity!
Isaac “Izzy” Brettler
Izzy develops insurance strategies and recommends solutions for Arbor Group’s personal and corporate clients. He joined the firm in 1993, bringing over seventeen years of insurance industry experience. He was both sales and training manager with The Guardian Life Insurance Company. Prior to that, he held a similar position with Phoenix Home Life Mutual Insurance Company. Izzy is a 1975 graduate of Rutgers University, where he earned a BA in Journalism. He and his wife Marti live in Cherry Hill NJ. They have two daughters.
Robert Kegel
Robert Kegel has 30 years experience in the group health insurance market. Bob’s career started in the development and managing of group health insurance plans for various trade associations in the State of Pennsylvania. Bob’s broad experience has helped him to design and implement new and cutting edge plan designs for all types of employers. Bob has served as Vice President of the Pennsylvania League of Independent Businesses, Association Insurance Services, and Universal Benefits. In addition, Bob was a paid consultant to the Alpha Group of Washington D.C. (a research division of the Kaiser Family Foundation) on the state of health insurance in Pennsylvania. Bob is also a past president of the Pennsylvania Association of Health Underwriters.
